Transfer tickets
Transfer ticket 290 HUF
Valid within the boundaries of Budapest for one trip with one transfer for 90 minutes. It should be validated once again when you change lines. After the change it is valid for 60 minutes on the underground and for 30 minutes on the Millenium Underground.
Metro section transfer ticket 185 HUF
Valid for a trip with one transfer, for up to 5 stops for 60 minutes. After changing lines, you should not interrupt your trip and travel in the opposite direction.
Metro transfer ticket 270 HUF
Valid for a trip with one transfer for 60 minutes. After changing lines, you should not interrupt your trip and travel in the opposite direction.
Non-transfer tickets
Single ticket 170 HUF
Valid on bus (on the whole length of the line), tram, underground, the Millenium Underground for 30 minutes, trolleybus, cogwheel railway, and within the administrative boundary of Budapest on suburban railway lines (HÉV) for one uninterrupted trip for 60 minutes. It can be purchased only on particular lines where it is indicated by a sign.

CURRENCY

CREDIT CARDS
It is not a problem at all to use it, it is acceptable nearly in every restaurant, shopping centre, tourist centers, bars and pubs, pensions and hotels.
ATM machines
In the city centrum you can find them nearly on every corner, in the undergrounds, at the banks and in the shopping centres.
CHANGE
